Microsoft adds robot inference offload to its Physical AI Toolchain

Microsoft Research has added robot inference offload to the open-source Physical AI Toolchain, letting workloads run on nearby or cloud GPUs instead of only onboard compute. Its measurements show higher task success and longer battery life in some setups, with network latency and bandwidth remaining the central trade-off.
